The whooping cough is gone, which is nice. I went to the gym yesterday for the first time since I got sick, and that was nice too. My old laptop (named phoebe) is going to an IVCF-Philippines staff via the Global Urban Trek. I hope it’s really helpful. It served me well.
I just got back from a Madison and Chicago trip, for training, fundraising, and fun. All 3 things got done, which was great. As a bonus, I got to hang out with my friend Kathy’s kids – who are so much fun. I also got to see Judy, Tony, Tom and Josh – also fun. I ate many different kinds of Asian food which was especially good after 5 days in Madison.
Oh, and I celebrated a birthday. π
I’m back in Austin for almost a month, I think, which may be some sort of record for this year. <sigh> I resolve to fight workaholism this coming year – I just realized that tomorrow is a holiday and I shouldn’t work, so I’m gonna try not to.
I’m better also, and very thankful for that. Hope that the whole digesting/processing of what you learned in Madison is going well.
